Agriturismo Macinello is situated among the lush hills of San Casciano Val di Pesa near the small village of Montefiridolfi. It is a traditional Tuscan stone farmhouse built in the 1400s from locally quarried stone blocks.

Our rooms
The Macinello farmhouse has been finely restored, preserving the authentic Tuscan style. Inside we find stone fireplaces, chestnut beams and terracotta floors. Interesting inserts can also be seen between the walls, made with recycled materials such as ancient barrels, and beams dating back to the Etruscans. The interiors are enhanced by period furniture and elegant Victorian-style elements, as well as local handcrafted creations. Beyond the inviting swimming pool surrounded by olive trees, we organize cooking classes, bike tours, wine tours and visits to local master craftsmen of bread, wood and cashmere.
The “colonica”dating from the 1400s has been recently renovated, maintaining its classical Tuscan-style with comfortable rooms and apartments, some of which can communicate with each other allowing the possibility of families to stay closely in touch with each other. The rooms available are: a single room, a double room, a triple room and apartments. There is an independent and detached suite/apartment (the Barn) with its own terrace facing west overlooking vineyards and olive groves.
